get started
New to Lithe? Here's how to get started!
step 1 CREATE an online account
It’s easy! Click here to enter our online reservation system and create an account. If you have any questions, contact us and we will be happy to assist.
step 2 TAKE your required beginner class
All new clients (Lithe “newbies”) are required to take one of our beginner’s programs – either our Immersion course OR our Lithe 101 classes – before reserving & taking “regular” classes. No exceptions. Please note that you must be 18 years or older to participate in Lithe Method classes.
Immersion
Immersion is a 3-week, 6-class, progressive course that is designed specifically for beginners. You’ll be introduced to our instructors, learn our bio-mechanical principles, and understand how to Lithe properly & effectively. By the end of your 6-class course, you’ll have built your stamina and strength so that you are ready to take regular classes. Contact us to reserve an upcoming Immersion course (start dates are listed below):
Rittenhouse: April 1st, May 6th, June 3rd (Monday/Wednesday 8:15pm-9:15pm)
Old City: April 2nd, May 7th (Tuesday/Thursday 5:15pm-6:15pm)
Mainline: April 2nd, May 7th, June 4th (Tuesday/Thursday 8:00pm-9:00pm)
Lithe 101
Lithe 101 is an entry-level class for fit, injury-free newbies with good body awareness. At least one Lithe 101 class is required before reserving & taking a regular class. You may choose to take as many 101s as you’d like, as a beginner or even after you’ve been Lithing for months (or years!). Lithe 101 classes can be reserved online.
What do you need for your first class? Wear comfortable workout clothing and be prepared to go bare (bare feet, that is!). Bring water, a pair of gloves to use with the bands (yes, they are required!), and be prepared to sweat!
step 3 GET LITHE!
Once you’ve completed the Immersion or 101 beginner requirement, you are able to reserve your regular classes up to three weeks in advance online. We recommend starting out with Skinny Jeans, Sculpt, or Split post-Immersion or -101s, and then sprinkling in other classes when you feel ready. They incorporate all the techniques you just learned in Immersion or 101, just at our full Lithe pace. So don’t overthink it, dive on in!
And, don’t forget to get connected to the Lithe community and stay informed about all things fit, hip, healthy by joining us on facebook, twitter, pinterest, and the blog.
